Terms of Service

Plain English, short on purpose. Last updated 28 July 2026.

The service

LumaTrack records automation run events you send us, prices them against baselines you configure, and reports the result. You are responsible for the accuracy of the baselines, rates, and costs you enter; we are responsible for computing and presenting them exactly as the published methodology says.

Your account

You need accurate signup information and you are responsible for activity under your account and API keys. Keep credentials secret; revoke any key you suspect is exposed (Settings, API keys, takes effect immediately).

Your data

Run events, baselines, and reports you create belong to you. You grant us the rights needed to store and process them to provide the service, and nothing more.

You can take them with you at any time, on any plan including Free. The value ledger exports to CSV from inside the app; so do your run events and your automations with their baselines, and the same records read over the API. Ask us and we will send a single JSON bundle of everything your organization holds. We never charge for an export and we never withhold one while an account is being cancelled. The formats are ordinary CSV and JSON, readable long after you stop paying us. Deletion works the same way: ask, and we delete.

Moving to a smaller plan, including cancelling to Free, does not shorten your history straight away: we hold the retention window of the plan you left for 30 days, so there is real time to export first. Leaving never removes your data faster than staying would have. Details are in the export guide.

Acceptable use

No unlawful use, no attempting to access other organizations' data, no reselling the service without an agreement (managed service providers: the MSP plan exists for exactly that, with white-label rights).

Billing

Paid plans bill through Stripe at the prices published on the pricing page. You can cancel any time; service continues to the end of the paid period. Over-cap run events are held for release, exactly as the documentation describes.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We do not warrant that reported figures are suitable for any particular accounting purpose; the methodology is published and your finance team should review it.

Changes

We will notify account admins by email before material changes to these terms take effect.
